About the position:

We're looking for a Production Equipment Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be part of a skilled team that provides day-to-day preventative maintenance and repair to all production equipment. You will:

• Ensure operation of machinery by completing repairs and preventive maintenance on production machines.
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to complete repairs/maintenance.
• Troubleshoot to find the source of the problem by observing equipment in operation, as well as in non-running condition, using maintenance best practices and proper test equipment.
• Identify specific parts required for repair via parts manuals, contacting equipment manufacturers, etc.
• Propose temporary repairs when proper repair parts are not readily available.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to return equipment to proper operational state.
• In conjunction with other departments, determine how to decrease equipment downtime, and help enact the required changes.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs in the CMMS software.
• Maintain and increase technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks, and on-the-job mentoring.
• Raise the bar through questioning of repeat failures to determine deeper root cause and preventative measures.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform related work as assigned.

About the schedule:

This position is 2nd shift with a 10-hour schedule. Thursday-Sunday 2:00 p.m.-12:30a.m.

About you:

• 1 year of experience
• Basic computer skills

It would be great if you had:

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical certification or equivalent
• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic troubleshooting knowledge
• Understanding of PLC

About the total compensation package:

Wage - Base wage for each shift option is$23.00 - 32.00 per hour (depending on experience).

Shift premium (in addition to base pay):

• 10-Hour Schedule: 10% standard shift premium + 15% additional premium
