The Print Production Coordinator will ultimately be responsible for the production and delivery of printed products based on customer specified requirements. The Production Planner serves as a liaison between the client, sales, and manufacturing functions, with overall responsibility for job planning and job technical engineering.

Analyze estimate and job package for accuracy, design, production techniques, and assessing production alternatives if necessary.

Prepare accurate job write-ups with detailed job information making sure that supplied Print Orders, credit approvals, or other appropriate documents are present.

Coordinate any material purchases (paper, cartons, dies, etc. ) or outside services that may be needed.

Review job in progress for any specification or pricing changes and communicate such changes to Sales and Customers.

Coordinate all phases of job production and communications with appropriate employees. Performs or arranges anything necessary to produce the job.

Coordinate with the Customer: film, proofing, specifications, schedules, and any other necessary details.

Communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner with employees, customers, and vendors when necessary.

Provide manufacturing with concise, precise, complete, timely, and cost-effective instructions in order to have each job manufactured properly. This involves being on call any hour of the day in the event information or decisions are needed in regard to a job in process.

When necessary assist the customer during press approvals especially in the absence of the Sales Representative.

Perform estimating functions for revisions on active jobs, and back up the Estimating department when needed.

Compile all costing information and prepare accurate billing in a timely manner for accounting.

Adhere to Sandy Alexander's quality and environmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives and comply with all safety and work rules when performing duties.

Complete and maintain all required checklists, paperwork, records, documents, etc. and maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a customer service role.
  • Willingness to learn about our business offerings.
  • Ability to communicate with members of the team and clients.
  • Ability to work within demanding schedules, tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at managing and organizing multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail and organization abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with internal groups and external partners.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and creative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite (ePace a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
