About the role:

Key responsibilities include:

Product development:

• Edit, administer and lead the entire recipe for a new and existing product during creation/ change / suppression and update technical documentation.
• Provide data support for R&D project managers in regards to specific requirements and set-up of products/recipes for all US, CA and MX production plants related to their capabilities.
• Maintain and promote product portfolio information and knowledge sharing with others.
• Manage changes related to raw materials, components, finished product, packaging and connect with R&D Life Cycle team
• Communicate any key features of existing, replacing and new product to department, customer service, sales, supply chain, operation, QA, regulatory and sourcing.
• Lead the Local Product Committee and follow actions with stakeholders
• Gather all documents required for specific and new production set-up with R&D Cocoa expert and stakeholder
• Follow up qualification of internal projects, coordinate samples collection across the region.

System:

• Ensure coordination of Global/Regional R&D processes/tools by acting as the synapse between IM & Master Data and Customer R&D & Technical services respectively.
• Act as Product Data and Recipe Expert to assure data consistency and readiness during SAP integration projects and new lines set-up
• Interact with Master Data to ensure proper maintenance of SAP.
• Define and maintain R&D processes, tools, databases.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to processes and tools.
• Analyze systems and define improvement actions, e.g. act as System Power User for SAP, Salesforce, EPM.

Dashboard:

• Analyze and deliver KPI reporting for R&D team.
• Generate, analyze and share reports

Scope:

• Cocoa Sales NAFTA ( USA, Canada, Mexico )
• Support FM, Gourmet, Interco Chocolate BU
• Cocoa and subcontractors

About you:

• Food science degree
• Fluent in the English language. Asset if fluent in additional languages.
• Knowledge in product formulation, processing, application is a plus
• Strong skill set in data analysis, statistics and business intelligence.
• Word, Excel, Power point
• Excel in project management skills
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
