Standard Casualty Company has an immediate opening for a Homeowners Policy Processor in our New Braunfels, Texas home office. We are a fast growing, yet stable specialized manufactured housing insurance company established in 1961 and based in New Braunfels, Texas since 1981.
In addition to the hourly base pay of between $17.00 and $17.50 per hour for this position, we also offer a competitive benefits package including annual bonuses, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays and Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm office hours that provide an excellent work-life balance for our employees.

Job Summary: The Policy Processor position for Standard Casualty Company is responsible for processing new and renewal policies in a timely manner, processing payments and discussing policy coverage with the customers.
Core Responsibilities/duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Track, verify and ensure accuracy of all new and renewal business
- Track and process payment requests for new and renewal business through Web-Quoter, email, fax and mail
- Increase and decrease coverages on active policies as requested by insured or agents
- Respond to inquiries received through Customer Portal, Agent Portal, website and email
- Assist Retail and Independents agents with coverages and questions regarding issuance of quotes, applications and binders
- Produce daily print jobs for insureds, agents, lienholders and agency
- Accurately record, report and balance all daily business to production reports
- Create, manage and maintain Excel spreadsheets
- Research and provide documentation for internal and external auditor requests
- Any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
Required job skills:
- High school diploma
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and 10-key adding machine
- Must be detail and deadline oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to think independently, comprehend reading and training materials and problem solve using available resources
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
Work Environment and Physical Demands with reasonable accommodations: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and be able to operate a computer or other office productivity machinery on a constant basis
- Frequently required to communicate with co-workers and policy holders with the ability to exchange accurate information as necessary
- Occasionally required to move about the office, ascend/descend stairs or a ladder or position self to maintain computers at workstation, including under the desk or other low areas
- Occasionally required to move and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Position may require temporary remote work based on business needs and management approval once the initial 90 day in-house training has been completed. Employee must have Wi-Fi connectivity, a smart phone and a designated work area in their home.
