PRN Registered Nurse Vascular Lab Mon-Fri, No call or weekends Job at Gulf Coast Vascular Care
Gulf Coast Vascular Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with Cath or Vascular lab procedural experience preferred.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Moderate Sedation
- Performing assessments of patients and evaluating their needs pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Circulating for cases if not in pre/post or administering medications
- Documenting all patient care actions
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
- Monitoring and interpreting vital signs, EKG rhythms
- Collaborating in the identification of patient needs and/or problems and working as part of a team to address them
- Educating and collaborating with caregivers on information to assist with the care of the patient
- Inventory management
- Assist with office practice
- Other appropriate duties may be assigned that are not listed in the description.
Requirements:
- Valid, unencumbered nursing license in Indiana
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Excellent work ethic and reliability
- Resourcefulness
- Ability to prioritize job duties and be detail oriented
- Positive outlook and resourceful attitude
Required experience:
- 1 year of Cath Lab, Specials or IR experience, Emergency Room or PACU
- Moderate Sedation administration and monitoring.
- Post procedure groin management
