Nauset Regional Middle School is located on lower Cape Cod in Orleans, Massachusetts. Students from the towns of Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, and Wellfleet join NRMS in grades 6-8, along with additional students from Truro, Provincetown, and other School Choice towns. At NRMS, all students come together to build relationships and engage in diverse learning experiences through a wide variety of courses, programs, extracurricular activities, academic and social-emotional supports, and student services.Nauset Public Schools is committed to building strong community schools, providing high-quality professional development, and developing all necessary conditions for students and staff to develop their 21st-century skills and global competencies. The NRMS Principal will lead, direct, counsel, evaluate and supervise a variety of personnel, students, and programs and will establish positive relationships with families that foster effective home-school communications. The NRMS Principal will maintain a collaborative approach with staff to effectively support social-emotional learning and the school-wide PBIS/Restorative practices initiative. The Principal will manage student discipline in a manner that is fair and equitable.

The NRMS Principal must have experience with the supervision and evaluation of staff, as well as experience with planning and maintaining an annual budget that supports quality programming and resources for all students and staff.
