Maintain and operate flexo press for manufacturing of labels in accordance with label order requirements. Raises given within the first 6 month!

Flexo Press Operators Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and interpret job information from job ticket for accurate fulfillment of the work order.
• Setup and run the press with correct paper, inks, plates, tooling and related press requirements for successful work order completion.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly press maintenance, along with keeping an orderly work area.
• Provide input to Production Manager of press condition and specific job-to-job performance, as needed.
• Communicate with rewind/bindery personnel all relevant information for the successful completion of the printed label.
• Assures conformance to quality standards as represented by customer’s label expectations.
• Complete all documentation associated with the job ticket.
• Demonstrates a ‘can-do’ attitude that puts the needs of the customer as a highest priority

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Ability to operate flexo machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to comprehend work instructions as detailed on the job ticket.
• Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Working Conditions:

Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 75 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
