Job duties include:

·Implement KCE’s curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child

·Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn while following coronavirus health and safety measures and more.

·Partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.

·Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.

What you'll need:

· High school diploma or GED

· Experience working with children ages 6 weeks - 6 years is preferred.

· Available Monday to Friday: Part Time 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (No weekends, center is closed on major holidays)

-State portable background check/Fingerprint

-Negative TB test

-Proof of MMR

-Infant/Child First Aid CPR Card

-HIV/Blood Borne Pathogens

-WA State Food Handlers card

-Safe Sleep Course for Infants

- Abuse and Neglect training

-30 Hours Childcare Basic course paid for by KinderCare. Followed by August 1, 2026, or 5 years from date of hire-education requirement Washington State Initial Certificate (12 credits).

-Transcripts for any degrees submitted and sent into Merit

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.74 - $19.60 per hour
