Arcadia Security is hiring several officers to provide Fully Uniformed, Armed security for multiple sites around the Las Vegas area, operating 24/7/365.

Site Information:
Each site is in a retail setting, with some locations being industrial and others being a marketplace. However, we are not working as undercover loss prevention. We are a fully uniformed presence to deter crime, theft and provide a safer environment for the store employees. Each shift is 8.5 hours (with a 30-minute lunch and 2 ten-minute breaks). Outside of the authorized breaks, officers will be required to stand post with foot patrols in and around the site location.

Requirements:
We ARE NOT looking for just guards. We need professionals that know how to communicate with the public, present a positive and professional image and effectively respond to and resolve conflict when necessary. Officers must be able to operate a CAD system for generating shift logs and reports, so computer literacy is an absolute requirement.

Compensation:
Starting pay for applicants with qualifying experience from the Military/Private Security Sector starts at $20.00 per hour.
(Qualifying experience does not just mean you have worked in security - you have to have armed experience working in an enforcement capacity and your resume must show stable employment history, which will be verified)

Starting pay for this assignment for those that have qualifying experience and have had a POST certification may start at $23.00 per hour.
(You will be required to provide a copy of your POST certification and other supporting documents at the time of your interview)

Reviews are conducted after 90 and 180 days of employment where officers are eligible for a pay increase after each review. Additional reviews are conducted after each anniversary date of employment, where an additional pay increase is also considered.

After 180 days, officers are also eligible for the company medical program. In addition to the pay, officers will also receive certifications for the Axon Taser, OC Spray, ASP Baton, Verbal Judo and other skills.
