PLC Technician
PLC technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial control systems. They work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that these systems are functioning properly at all times. This position will work in our Robstown, TX facility.
Responsibilities:
- Testing and troubleshooting issues with the PLC system to identify the cause of the problem
- Developing new PLC programs or updating existing ones as needed
- Writing new software code or modifying existing code to make changes to how a PLC system operates
- Coordinating with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot malfunctions in complex industrial systems
- Analyzing data provided by sensors to provide feedback to other applications or equipment
- Trouble shooting using Allen Bradley PLC families
- Analyze, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques
- Read electrical and electronic schematics
- Preventative maintenance on Equipment – identifies weakness in design and implements improvements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical PLC experience
- Strong emphasis on Allen Bradley PLC families
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
