This is a chance to enter the exciting world of professional horticulture and be trained on the job. We are seeking to add a key member to our team. This is a full-time position that requires a high energy, detail-oriented self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will care for a variety of tropical indoor plants and living greenwalls at a well-known tech company. We aim to curate a welcoming and productive working environment that will help keep both people and plants happy and healthy. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Planting: Seasonal Planting; Staging Interior Plants; Oversee Installation Team
• Maintaining open communication with service staff and operations staff, both internal and client-facing
• Educating clients about their plants
• Providing all plant care
• Must be prepared to be working on your feet all day, using watering cans, watering tanks, and sometimes ladders.
• Maintaining Greenwall / Living Wall (training provided)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Professional, reliable and efficient
• Capable of lifting 40lbs, be comfortable working on a ladder and be active all day long
• Strong interest in horticulture, including common interior/tropical plants; as well as learning how to care for them and understand their cultural requirements
• Willing to learn how to address common garden pests/diseases
• Thorough and patient in the learning process
• Territory includes Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Driver’s License is not required, as public transportation will reach all destinations.
