*INCREASED* Pay Ranges:

First Class Pipefitters $38.00/hr + $137.52/day per diem
Second Class Pipefitters $33.14/hr + $137.52/day per diem
Job Description
Pipefitters, also referred to as Journeyman Pipefitters, are responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel, and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fittings utilizing multiple tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements, and blueprints.
Production involves working at different heights, confined spaces, weather conditions, and multiple shifts 24 hours a day. Pipefitters may be required to work either day or night, dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time.
We stress the practice of working safely in all situations with safety procedures meeting, and most times, exceeding industry standards.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 Years of trade experience
Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills
Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication, and installation of pipe, flanges, and valves
Read and interpret trade drawings and blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements
