Pipe Insulator Job at S3
PA based mechanical contractor specializing in natural gas compressor stations is urgently hiring Pipe Insulators for projects within an 80 mile radius Eighty-Four, PA area. Must have 2+ years of industrial pipe insulating experience. Must have OSHA 10 or PEC training and all PPE including FR clothing. Per diem available.
Pipe Insulator Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial pipe insulating experience
- MUST have documented OSHA 10/PEC
- MUST have all PPE including FR clothing
- MUST have basic hand tools
- MUST be able to commute back and forth daily (per diem on case by case basis)
Pipe Insulator Responsibilities
- Measure and cuts insulation material to specific size and shape
- Install or replace insulating material surrounding pipes
- Install or replace fire-retardant materials to prevent the spread of fire
- Must be able/willing to work M-Sat 7am-530pm (6/10s)
Pipe Insulator Compensation/Benefits
- $24/hr (20 hours/wk of OT)
- $80/day per diem
