What you'll do:
- Bill insurance plans for all types of medications
- Calculate day supplies and resolve insurance rejections
- Assist in counting, shelving and maintaining pharmacy inventory
- Ensure that medications are filled safely and accurately
- Provide customer service to our patients via phone
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities
- Maintains records by filing prescriptions
What you'll need:
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Experience with a high call volume environment/fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Motivation to grow
- Quick Learner
