As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Clerk at Memorial Hospital of Gardena, you will perform general clerical duties and services within the pharmacy under the supervision of a director or licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include computer data entry, data analysis, filing, billing, copying, maintaining inventory, answering phones, handling paperwork, and sorting and filing correspondence and other records as directed. In addition to supporting the pharmacy at Memorial Hospital of Gardena, you will also support Coast Plaza Doctor's Hospital (Norwalk, CA), as needed.

Schedule: This full time, nonexempt position will work 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm.

Pay Range: $15-$19/hour based on experience.

About the Facility: Founded in 1953, Memorial Hospital of Gardena provides full-service healthcare to the Gardena community. With 173 licensed beds, 103 acute beds, and 69 sub-acute beds, the hospital admits 7,400 patients and treats more than 30,000 outpatients per year as part of its full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Acquired by Avanti Hospitals in 2009, Memorial Hospital of Gardena is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is a licensed provider for Medicare and Medi-Cal, along with many HMO’s, PPO’s, and managed care organizations. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The centralized pharmacy is open 24/7 and supported by AllScripts and Pyxis.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Basic computer skills including experience using Excel and MS Word

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
