We are seeking responsible pet-lovers to join our Pet Sitting & Dog Walking team.

All candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Pass a thorough criminal, employment, and reference check

• Be team players with a deep appreciation for animals

• Be honest, reliable, and flexible

• Be service oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service

• Be able to work independently and in all weather conditions

• Have a valid drivers license and reliable, insured transportation

• Have a smartphone to access calls, texts and emails anytime of day

• Maintain a daily schedule log and accurately manage schedule of appointments

Pet sitting offers a great opportunity to spend time with a variety of animals, while getting exercise and meeting great people and earning supplemental income.

Pet sitting assignments range from visiting pets while their owners work or travel, to staying overnight in a client’s home to insure the safety of their pet and home. In general we look for people that can satisfy one or more of the following types of availability:

•Dog Walkers; Monday through Friday Midday from (10am to 4pm)

•Pet Sitters; Every day of the week 1 to 4x's a day anytime between (6am) AND (10pm).

•Overnight Sitters; to stay with the animals overnight (9pm to7am) typically for stays of 1 day to 2 weeks.

You will need to love pets, have experience caring for them in some capacity, and have excellent work and personal references. Reliability, trustworthiness, plenty of common sense, and an ability to follow detailed instructions are key criteria to working with us.

To be considered you must:

•Live in Mableton or Smyrna;

•Be at least 21 years of age;

•Have your own insured, reliable vehicle;

•Have your own cell phone;

•Have your own e-mail account (and home access to a computer);

•Have excellent references and pass a formal background check;

•Must be able to reasonably commit to taking work for at least (1) year.

You should be aware that this type of work is customer service based and is a big responsibility…living, breathing animals will be relying on you to be a punctual, organized, competent, stable and consistent care giver. We hire individuals to meet the needs of our clients and their animals that are loyal and willing to work hard. If quick cash is what you’re after, this is NOT for you because each sitter works part-time. If animals are your passion, and you are looking for regular assignments, you’ll feel right at home.
