We are a well-established pet sitting/dog walking company serving clients in the Kyle/Buda area for over 12 years. We are looking for someone who is EXPERIENCED in handling, working and walking different sizes of dogs; knowledge of additional animals is a huge plus.

The "ideal" candidate would be interested in a FULL-time independent contractor position, however, part-time is NOT excluded. It has been our experience that college school schedules and certain work from home jobs do not allow the flexibility that is needed for this position, but always willing to discuss.

Because the hours vary throughout the day, depending on visits, your daily schedule offers lots of flexibility. And, every day is different. This position requires you to travel to owners' homes to make pet sitting/dog walking visits, which is more flexible than sitting behind a desk in an office all day. The position DOES REQUIRE weekends and holidays. Days off vary.

We are looking for contractors who are honest, trust-worthy and looking for a long term relationship. The company spends a lot of time, money and effort in training the right person, so we ask that you PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS IN THE POSITION. CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN KYLE OR BUDA. Please DO NOT REPLY to this posting if you do not live in Kyle or Buda. Due to the areas we service, it is not cost effective if you live outside Kyle or Buda.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE of various dogs. Please DO NOT REPLY to this posting if you do not have canine handling experience.

Candidates MUST have the following attributes:

• ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
• NO criminal background!
• 25 years of age or older (absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Have an open, flexible schedule to work days, weekends and holidays. (general hours of visits are from: 7am-9am; mid-day; and 7pm-9pm).
• Experience with dogs and cats is a MUST.
• Be punctual, responsible, organized, detail oriented
• Be able to follow directions.
• Be extremely reliable & honest and able to practice confidentiality.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills with ability to write detailed notes for clients.
• Be competent to exercise/properly walk dogs.
• MUST be willing to clean up feces, urine, and vomit, when necessary.
• Be willing to scoop kitty litter boxes and tidy cages of small animals.
• Be willing to take out client garbage, water plants and general in-home care.
• Please do not apply if you are allergic to pet dander, bird feathers, etc.
• You must have a reliable and insured vehicle. This is an "on the road" job and you will be responsible for your gas (which is deductible on taxes).
• MUST have Internet access and email.

The more you work, the more you are paid. Paid once a week. No tip sharing! Tips go directly to the person making the visits. Extra pay on major holidays.
