Pet Butler, America's Pet Waste Cleanup Service, premier professional "Pooper-Scooper" service and we’re looking for a dynamic, reliable, hard working individual for an opening with our outstanding and growing SQUAD! This is a unique position with a unique, growing company! We service hundreds of homes per week and we are growing

We are in need of a Part-Time (25-30 hrs./wk.) Field service technician based out of our Silver Spring location. This position has the potential to quickly turn into a Full time position for the right candidate.

Depending on your level of responsibility and where you live, you may be able to take the company vehicle home and start and stop work from your house rather than commute to pick up the company vehicle.

We cleanup, disinfect and remove dog waste from hundreds of residential yards and apartment / condo communities across Montgomery and Howard counties each week. All tools and training will be provided. You can also play or pet the dog if available. We also service and maintain dog waste stations for communities across the area.

Responsibilities and Duties

Service homes for weekly and one time cleanups removing all dog waste.

Applying our deodorizing spray service for customers that request it

Providing support/relief for other route drivers on overflow days.

Providing service in inclement weather, rain, shine, heat cold, wind.

Our service hours are from sun up to sun down but that doesn’t mean you will be working all those hours. We work Monday thru Friday. Typical routes are completed within a 5- 8 hour workday. There will be days that require some overtime. We try to avoid working on the weekends, but their may be occasions when it occurs. We do work on many holidays as well. We do close for major holidays.

Flexibility is important – there may be last minute opening for extra hours if other technicians are out sick

We will train you to achieve our expected standards for time and accuracy.

Those that meet our standards will earn $20/hr

Qualifications and Skills

We won't babysit you but do expect you to be:

Honest and responsible, Fast and reliable, Friendly and clean

Mature and hardworking, not afraid of large or barking dogs

A Self starter, Must be able to lift 35 lbs bags into a standard pickup truck, stand, crouch, bend, for long periods

Must be able to perform labor intensive tasks in direct sun, cold, and rain.

Have the ability to follow directions, 21+and A clean driving record and valid license is required to meet insurance requirements.

You will be provided with the tools, uniform shirt, a vehicle and on the Job training

COVID 19 - Other than during training you will be working alone and will not have close contact with people. We do not require you to wear a mask while performing your normal duties. We do require you to wipe down vehicle contact surfaces with disinfectant after completion of your shift

Requirements

General Laborer, landscaping, warehouse, Maintenance, groundskeeping, and driving experience preferred, but not required, we will train the right candidate.

Customer service skills are a plus. Must be able to communicate with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Experience around dogs is preferred.

We are looking for a reliable, hard working individual who prefers to work autonomously, and is a self starter and motivated for immediate hire. We need a punctual and responsible candidate for this urgent position.

COVID-19 considerations:
You will be working by yourself in a company truck. You will not be interacting closely with other people. Sanitizer is available and you are required to wipe down your truck at the end of your shift. Masks are not required while performing normal duties
