Missouri Ozarks Community Health – Ava Wellness Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time Personal Trainer.
This position will be an active member of the Wellness Center Team that is responsible for building a positive, professional, and friendly rapport with all MOCH members and guests who use the facility.
The potential candidate should be a positive, upbeat individual with a strong interest in physical fitness and education. Must possess the skill to teach, provide instruction, motivate others, and understand client’s fitness goals.
Responsibilities also include training members on the proper use of the equipment, giving orientations, as well as preventative and general maintenance of the cardiovascular and strength training equipment areas. This position will teach group exercise classes onsite and coordinate group fitness programs as well as work one on one with clients answering questions on equipment and proper form when working out.
The Personal Trainer will also assist co-workers in their absence and assist with administrative duties as assigned. Mandatory vaccination policies are in place unless you qualify for an exemption. Personal Trainer certification preferred.
