Business owner in the Calabasas area of Los Angeles looking to hire a Personal Assistant to provide key support for the family's day-to-day needs. This person will work a minimum of 20-hours per week full-time work available as well.

Responsibilities

Financial/Bookkeeping

  • Assist with financial documentation, light accounting, and budgeting. experience required.
  • Monthly bank statement entry for both personal and commercial real estate accounts, as well as credit card reconciliation.

Project Management

  • Management for multiple homes, including assistance with household projects.
  • Work with family members, administrative staff, and third-party vendors contractors to undertake a project-based approach to work.
  • Vehicle management: supervising repairs and maintenance for family vehicles.

Travel

  • Plan domestic and international travel arrangements for family; arrange hotel and ground transportation when necessary.

Social

  • Assist with events as needed, coordinating with vendors.
  • Gifting: researching options, shopping & drop offs as needed for birthdays, holidays, events.

Administrative

  • Opening and handling mail.
  • Maintaining and organizing bills, emails, notes, spreadsheets, and all documentation trail for immediate recall.
  • Labeling and filing electronic copies of various documents and personal items.
  • Assist with calendar including important dates, birthdays, personal appointments, etc.
  • Settinging up interviews using Indeed.com for various prositions.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Quicken is necessary.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within 15 miles of Thousand Oaks.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative and follow through with a high level of execution. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks at the same time with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Responsible, trustworthy, and reliable.

We are seeking a full-time Personal Assistant to assist the head of our company. The successful candidate for this position should be creative and detail-oriented, as well as verbal and a strong listener. Ideal candidates will also have experience in:
