Pcn / Scada Analyst Job at Chevron
Chevron is accepting online applications for the PCN / SCADA Analyst role located in Coalinga, CA through May 19th at 11.59pm.
The PCN / SCADA Analyst will surveil, support, and troubleshoot operational issues related to CVX San Joaquin Valley Business Unit PCN / SCADA assets to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Incident response for SCADA PCN assets during plant upset including after hour and weekends.
- Troubleshoot and triage as first responder to PCN SCADA service disruptions or incidents.
- Facilitate required support resources to resolve incidents. Execute work orders associated to PCN SCADA landscape according work order management process. Includes service restoration and service request.
- Focus on scheduled work utilizing Service Now / EAM and documentation prior to closing work orders.
- Perform routine duties & proactive surveillance of PCN and SCADA systems.
- Execute configuration, firmware patches and other tasks on PCN SCADA assets per cyber security requirements.
- Adhere to all PCN compliance procedures governing PCN and IRM tasks.
- Execute and validate compliance requirements for new projects per PCN project assurance process, PHA, AOA, LOPA, CCC & PSSR. Participate in bad actor resolution workflow process.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have valid High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must have at least 1 year of related Analyst experience.
Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Design, program, commission & troubleshoot Rockwell & Modicon based SCADA systems including PLCs, OITs & VFDs. Design, configure, commission and troubleshooting Schneider Invensys ArchestrA HMIs, communication drivers, InSQL & OSI PI.
Understanding of CVX Oil field operation and control systems.
Ability to take input, organize, create actionable plans & execute. Ability to analyze and prioritize requests in a time constrained environment and adjust to high priority requests supporting business continuity.

Relocation will be considered within Chevron parameters.
