Payroll Specialist Job at Quorum

What You'll Do
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately, ensuring updates for new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, deduction changes, and commissions are appropriately captured
- Assist Payroll department with processing and analyzing multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
- Record payroll-related journal entries.
- Liaise with Human Resources and Benefits on payroll impacting transactions such as leave of absence, retro processing, 401K loans, etc for staff.
- Work with HR and Benefits to onboard/offboard staff.
- Assist finance department with ad hoc reporting requests and audits.
- Monitor & review multi-state taxation reports, missing tax/payment elections, and local tax set up.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local payroll tax requirements.
- Develop and implement review process for variable compensation.
About You
- Associates Degree in accounting or finance, OR equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years payroll processing for an organization with 200+ employees
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Strong knowledge of our payroll and accounting systems; ADP Workforce Now and Netsuite experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Experience working in a fast paced, team environment

Compensation Structure
- Base Salary: $80,000 - $88,000, commensurate with experience
