Job Description:
Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator for its corporate operations based in Lenexa, KS. This position is responsible for the following duties:
  • Processing of payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Employment verification processing.
  • Provide customer service to all branch locations regarding any payroll issues.
  • Process and reconcile union trust fund payments on a monthly basis paying close attention to deadlines.
  • Reconciling and balancing of union related general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, preparing journal entries when necessary.

Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of payroll/accounting experience is required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong accounting and reconciliation experience.
  • Organization and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of construction industry operations, union trust fund payments and practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll processes is preferred.
