What does this role entail?
- Organize, prepare and maintain confident payroll record information
- Utilize financial accounting system to process payroll
- Maintain payroll and voluntary deduction files and records
- Generate payroll reports from financial accounting system
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Provide payroll support to employees
- Maintain payroll operations, follow policies and procedures and report needed changes
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide administrative support to accounting functions
What do I need to bring to the table?
- Minimum two years’ experience in related field and/or position related college course work
- Payroll processing experience preferred
- Ability to use 10-key by touch
- Ability to input and type repetitively for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational skills
- Functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well
- Fast learner, flexible and able to perform in a multi-task in a busy work environment
- Must have the visual, physical and auditory ability to act swiftly in emergency situations
- CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
