Payroll & Accounting Specialist Job at Central Alabama Aging Consortium
The Central Alabama Aging Consortium is a part of the state network of Area Agencies on Aging, a public service agency dedicated to helping persons aged 60 and over, adults with disabilities and their families to access needed community services in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore Counties. We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Payroll/ Accounting Specialist.
Under the direction of the Finance Director, the Payroll/ Accounting Specialist is responsible for:
- Help prepare payroll.
- Preparing and maintaining EVV records and billing. - Completing, reconciling, and submitting to ADSS.
- Balancing contractor voucher summaries and preparing them for payment
- Analyzing case manager time reports.
- Reconciling client meal delivery reports, preparing and submitting meal reports to ADSS and GA Foods.
- Assisting in completion of payroll reports.
- Providing support on computer operations when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance a plus
- Previous payroll experience especially with ADP a plus
- Previous accounting/ accounts payable experience required
- Must be proficient in all computer applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent customer service skills
This position is full time, in office Monday through Friday 8:00- 4:30
