We are looking for a passionate, driven, and detail-oriented Patient Financial Counselor to join our well-established practices in the Greater Miami area.

SWH provides the following services to our community evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Our behavioral programs are nationally accredited from the Joint commission and listed with the Agency of Health Care Administration and Florida Department of Children and Families.

A patient financial advisor will be responsible for:

Reviews census report daily and analyze accounts to find and pursue all avenues of reimbursement.

Collects self-pay balances on all in-house patients, establishes payment arrangements according to policy and determines cases for outside funding referrals

Advises manager of payment problems and insurances company, attorney or other third party requests for negotiation

Reviews in-house high dollar accounts on the census report weekly for appropriate follow-up to ensures timely reimbursement.

Comply with the cash goals and productivity set by the manager

Document all activities from phone calls, walk-ins and correspondence on assigned accounts daily.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
