GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides leadership and change management support for developing and integrating processes, policies and procedures into departments within Patient Care Services. Supports and contributes to regular dissemination of quality and performance data, provides analysis of data, and coordinates collaborative efforts around taking action toward improvement. Fosters a culture of standardization and evidence-based care. Participates in the execution of strategic initiatives across all Patient Care Services departments and service lines. Assists the VP of Patient Care Services/CNO and PCS Directors Team in providing leadership, direction and administration of clinical operations to ensure accomplishment of objectives. Manages the “Grow Your Own” pipeline development department and other departments as delegated by the VP of Patient Care Services/CNO.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Provides leadership and oversight for the development, integration, coordination and ongoing support for the processes with in Patient Care Services in an integrated fashion.

3. *Participates in the planning and implementation of new technologies, procedures and services to support day-to- day operations.

4. *Effectively assists with human resource processes, including scheduling, performance appraisals, staff recruitment, selection and retention, training and education, motivation, coaching, mentoring and appropriate productivity measures.

5. *Assists in all areas of operations improvement, strategic and business planning, decision-making, and implementation and evaluation of strategies and initiatives on an organization-wide basis.

6. Works collaboratively with providers, the leadership team, vendors, community groups, elected officials and agencies/regulatory bodies.

7. Accountable for providing project management and facilitating the design and implementation of PCS-wide processes.

8. *Works with support services such as Risk Management and Quality to develop systems and quality improvement programs to develop and maintain a culture of accountability, patient safety and quality

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required. Master’s degree (MSN. MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred.

A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare related field with at least two (2) years management experience.
