Responsibilities
- Understanding all aspects of how the office is most efficiently and effectively run
- Ensuring that patients feel welcome and comfortable throughout the experience
- Greeting patients, checking them in and out, and collecting payments
- Using the phone and computer to arrange appointments and manage the office schedule
- Accurately managing medical records and systems for patient reminders
- Preparing daily charts and paperwork for upcoming appointments
- Verifying insurance and explaining coverage to patients
- Knowledge and management of hearing aid equipment and manufacturers
- Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it
- Cultivating meaningful relationships with staff, patients, and their families
Qualifications

- Technological proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- At least 2 years administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity working in a medical office with insurance and EMR preferred

- Full-time position (40 hours per week) with bi-weekly pay cycle
- Competitive hourly wage (depending on experience)
- $220 monthly bonus to offset health insurance (with proof of expense)
