Currently, New York Branch Office has an immediate opening for passenger reservation & ticketing agent. Experience related to the position is preferred but entry-level is also welcomed. • Good communication/customer service/organization/time management skills
• Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

JOB DESCRIPTION

FULL-TIME PASSENGER RESERVATION & TICKETING AGENT:

• Assisting and advising passengers in making reservations;
• Offering promotional fares and products to passengers appropriately;
• Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations;
• Answering any questions passengers might have about reservations process;
• Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing passengers of additional services or products, such as premium economy seats, or high class products;
• Providing support to passengers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation;
• Assisting travel agents in handling upgrade, and answering questions related to air tickets, regulations, and promotions;
• Processing ticket issuing/re-issuing/refund and sending confirmation details to passengers;
• Offering passengers with information regarding flights, fares, destination, mileages and special offers and products
• Provide individualized customer service through a high standard of professionalism
