We have a rare opening for a bartending position at Parma Tavern in Buford, GA. You have heard businesses tell you how much their team operates and feels like a family, but Parma truly does. We have had much of the same employees for the better part of the last ten years. We work hard, we’re there for one another and we take care of our guests. We strive each and every day to provide a fun and safe atmosphere and deliver a phenomenal dining experience for all who walk through our doors.

The ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, maintains a strong work ethic and possesses the intangibles we are looking for - helpful, kind, fun to be around and guest-obsessed. A hard-worker who wants to make people happy. Base knowledge of beer, liquor, wine and cocktails is necessary, as is the availability to work weekends, late-nights and holidays. A minimum of two years of high-volume bartending experience is preferred. This is a high-demand position - our bar staff routinely earn more than $500/night on most shifts.

Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
- Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
- Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
- Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
- Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
- Other duties as requested
