We are seeking a highly dynamic and passionate Parent and Child Engagement Specialist and Morning Shift Gym Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with parents and children to ensure a positive and engaging experience in our programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all incoming inquiries, scheduling classes and events, and following up with leads to convert them into members.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all incoming inquiries via phone, email, and text messaging (this is a remote position)
• Help coach in person classes in the morning time
• Schedule classes, events, and birthday parties in our system
• Follow up with leads and prospective members to encourage membership sign-ups
• This role requires a high level of interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to effectively communicate with both parents and children.
• Engage with parents and children to build positive relationships and foster a welcoming environment
• Provide exceptional customer service to parents, addressing concerns and answering questions
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure smooth operation of programs and events
• Maintain accurate records of parent and child engagement efforts
• Continuously seek feedback from parents and children to improve our programs and services

Requirements:

• Between 1-10 hours of phone communication (i.e. phone calls, text messages)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Prior experience in customer service, sales, or a related field preferred
• Passion for health and fitness, especially for children
• Passion for working with parents and children, and dedication to their success
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and effective communication
