We are a growing third-generation, family-owned manufacturer of high-quality metal and plastic industrial storage, material handling, first aid, and safety products.
Description:
The ideal Assembler/ Packer candidate can perform functions necessary to package products which include, but are not limited to, removing products from overhead conveyor line, placing plastic scoops in products, making cardboard cartons, stacking cartons on pallets, inserting cradles into products, and adjust slides, inserting trays into drawer cabinets, placing products in cartons, applying gaskets to unit kits using a glue machine, can produce high-quality work, and is interested in finding a stable career path while learning lifelong skills.
Requirements:Your Skills:
- Motivated to meet or exceed production goals
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and fast-paced
- Ability to inspect, identify and report non-conforming product or work
- Comfortable operating riveting machines, pallet lifts, riveting gun, taping machine, glue machine, automatic carton erector, and other equipment associated with the packing lines
- Ability to follow 7-S policies and procedures
- Experienced in following all safety rules
- Capable of maintaining a neat and orderly work area
- Eager to expand and broaden skills by participating in all required learning events and cross-training
- Enjoys working a reasonable amount of overtime
- Can perform other duties as assigned
