National Aircraft Cleaning & Janitorial company located at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is looking for a Full Time Building Maintenance Supervisor. You will be supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in cleaning. Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus. This is an overnight position - all applicants must have overnight availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.

Other Duties may be assigned.

- Assigns tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
- Issues supplies and equipment.
- Resolves workers' problems or refers matters to manager.
- Records employees' hours worked on shift reports.
- Submits requests for repair of cleaning equipment (if requested by manager).
- Requisitions or purchases cleaning supplies and equipment (if requested by manager).
- Performs duties of workers supervised.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Payroll systems.

- Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
- Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- Work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Work overtime on short notice in emergencies or when operationally necessary.

- Applicable valid driver’s license as required by airport authority in order to operate a vehicle or equipment.

MATERIALS USED:

- Uses specialized cleaning solutions and materials; uses equipment such as mops, brushes, floor
machine waxer/buffer, vacuum cleaner and brooms. May drive golf cart or pick van.
