PathStone’s National Farmworker Job Program in Puerto Rico is responsible for providing island- wide education, job training, career development, job placement services, and support, to assist farmworkers and their dependents in becoming self-sufficient.

What sets you apart from the rest? Specifically, you have the following skills, experience and/or education:

• Three years of training and/or work experience in the area of job training and employment or other relevant area, with specific emphasis on the issues of rural, unemployed, previously incarcerated, high school drop outs and farmworker populations
• Knowledge of computers and record keeping

This is a full-time position. The Outreach Coordinator serves as lead and coordinates all program outreach and recruitment activities for direct enrollment of program participants. Specifically, this position is responsible for:

• Recruiting and enrolling participants for training and employment opportunities and assists and supports participants in utilizing those opportunities
• Enhancing participants’ ability to access resources available in their communities
• Maintaining records
• Traveling to areas where participants are located to inform, recruit, screen and enroll individuals
• Collaborating with agency representatives, community groups, and area employers to determine employment trends and demands, and to facilitate referrals
• Coordinating and developing trainings for outreach staff as well as for participants
• Compiling and submitting reports on outreach activities
