Outpatient Psychotherapist (LCSW(A)/LCMHC(A) Job at Body & Soul Total Wellness, PLLC
POSITION SUMMARY: Established in 2010 we are a small outpatient group private practice with locations in Davidson and Guilford counties. Our growth remains steadfast and our therapists are in high demand! We are seeking provisionally licensed clinicians to join our team who seek clinical supervision within our practice and who intend to build a sustainable private practice of their own immediately following full licensure. Current established credentials with Sandhills Center, Vaya Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield are preferred and not necessary to apply. However, credentialing is immediately required upon hire and before a caseload to conduct individual and group therapy is established. Serious inquiries only.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to the BSTW Client Discovery Policy as outlined in the BSTW Staff Handbook to include health insurance verification assurance, consents and completion of comprehensive clinical assessments for clients presenting with mental health and co-occurring disorders to include determining appropriate level of care in conjunction with treatment plan development.
Provide weekly/biweekly emotional support to clients as deemed medically necessary during individual therapy sessions and/or during group therapy sessions, virtually and/or in office. Maintain a caseload of no less than 25 individual clients and facilitate at least one group of preference at all times, virtually and/or in office.
Monitor client progress and document clinical findings in client records within seven days of service using practice management software, Simple Practice. Maintain confidentiality regarding privileged administrative and/or client information in a professional manner per the BSTW Medical Records in Paper Form Policy and as outlined in the BSTW Staff Handbook.
Participate in weekly/monthly clinical case conference supervision with the Clinical Director and/or Assistant Clinical Director as needed. Associate levels must obtain clinical supervision towards full licensure from BSTW.
Maintain and establish collaborative working relationships with community partners, programs and other healthcare professionals to enhance client continuity and coordination of care. Also, to support ongoing efforts to maintain a steady stream of referrals as outlined in the BSTW Independent Contractor Agreement.
Enhance established departmental Policies and Procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and customer service standards; perform all duties and services in full compliance with BSTW standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree within the Social Work or Counseling field. Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor within good standing with their respective board.
Credentialing with Sandhills Center, Cardinal Innovations and Blue Cross Blue Shield as an Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) is currently completed and/or has been submitted for enrollment approval by each network is required.
Maintain a caseload of no less than 25 people for individual therapy and operate a minimum of one group sessions of preference at all times, virtually and/or in office is required.
Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of mental health/co-occurring diagnosis, treatment and prevention; counseling and intervention techniques within a private practice setting; the dynamics of interpersonal relationships; and community resources/programs virtually and in person.
Two-year work experience minimum in the field of mental health is preferred. Previous experience with ethically and culturally diverse populations.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software, Google Docs and Electronic Medical Records systems is required.
Experience working with contact management platforms such insurance companies for mental health benefit verification is required.
Experience with engaging on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for the purpose of community engagement and marketing is required.
Enjoys taking on any tasks that come their way and can work on multiple projects at once.
