Are you the CLEARWATER/LARGO AREA?
The District Event Venue & Wedding Hall is Searching for a pleasant, outgoing, competitive person who wants to win while making a meaningful impact on people's lives. This is an on-site position where you must be at our venue to complete your shifts. You will be primarily ON THE PHONES for most of your shift. You will be following up with hot leads that have come in from our website and other third-party sites with clients who are directly interested in our venue. You will also be following up for tour confirmations, getting reviews from previous clients, and more.

You'll get to experience working in a beautiful ballrooms style venue while helping people create the most memorable moments of their lives! You will be paid hourly with the opportunity to make commissions and bonuses.

Responsibilities:
  • Help couples book our wedding venue by responding to inquiries, and referrals through calls, texts, and emails.
  • Respond in a timely manner to inquiries made by phone, email, social media, and third-party websites.
  • Work closely and collaborate with the Wedding Events Coordinator who will oversee events day-of, including welcoming guests, directing event setup, communicating with staff, organizing vendors, and overseeing take-down.
  • Hours will be mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekend afternoons - the best times clients will answer the phone.
  • Disciplined consistent daily activity focused on continually building the pipeline.
  • Once you are comfortable with outreach you will begin conducting site tours of our property with potential clients.
  • Provide exemplary customer service/relationship management.
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients for the inquiry to tour phase.
  • Partner with the internal team to ensure your customers are completely satisfied.
  • Use a CRM tool to manage daily tasks, revenue pipeline, and overall client communication.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to work both independently and as a cohesive part of a closely-knit team.
  • High level of competitiveness and an eagerness to excel professionally and financially.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, solutions-based, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exemplary sales success.
  • Online savvy, with web, social media, and e-commerce expertise.
  • MS Office Suite, Google Docs, CRM software.

Benefits:
  • Base Hourly Pay.
  • Commission and Bonus in addition to hourly pay once you start tours.
  • Starting at $13 for 30 days, then $14 at 60 days, and $15 at 90 days.
