Part Time hours (20-25 hours per week) [M-F 5p-11p Eastern time range; one Saturday per four week schedule period (swapped for another day off)]

The Day In The Life of An Outbound Patient Coordinator:

  • The Outbound Patient Coordinator will place outbound calls for various call center related services including, but not limited to, ED follow-up surveys, satisfaction surveys, post discharge surveys, health assessment surveys and informational calls. This position reports to the Patient Coordinator Manager.

Pay & Other Things to Consider:

$15 Hour: Base pay is $15.00 per hour plus $1 an hour premium for bilingual Spanish-speaking coordinators.

$1 Shift Premium available Mon-Fri beginning at 3pm EST and Sat beginning at 7am EST.


Job Requirements

Employment is contingent upon receipt of acceptable reference checks, background check and drug screen. TeamHealth participates in E-Verify of all references.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of healthcare experience desired.
  • 1 year of Medical Scheduling experience is highly desired
  • 1+ years of customer service experience. This includes Call Center / Medical Office / Clinic, front desk, medical receptionist or first point of contact in a customer service environment.
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills to determine key information by patient
  • Ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm and pass an assimilation listening test
  • Ability to defuse conversations and escalate if necessary
  • Professional, courteous telephone voice
  • Ability to handle confidential information; HIPAA experience is a plus.
  • Detail Oriented – Accurately process and record information ensuring data integrity
  • Ability to follow scripted information while interacting with patients and a willingness to escalate situations as appropriate
