Summary:
The Order Management Associate is responsible for assisting with order management of new product sales while interacting and supporting team initiatives that better position the department and company for growth. This role works directly with all members of the inside and outside sales team and specific cross functional team members that interact with the order upon receipt and submission through product completion, delivery, and invoicing to the customer. This position is on site in High Point, NC and will report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supporting and performing at times order management activities; new order entry, order management, and invoicing
- Perform reporting through Access and Epicor as requested of fields and data related to new product orders
- Assist news product sales team members with order status inquiries and customer reporting requests through Access and Epicor
- Work with IT and cross functional project teams on ongoing improvement of current systems and implementation of new systems using Access and Epicor
Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree
- Minimum 2 years of sales and/or order management experience required
- High Level of Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access; ability to create, proof and publish reports and creative presentations
- Epicor or ERP experience required
- Applicant must have a highly collaborative workstyle and willingness to step in to solve business problems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate in both a verbal and written setting
- Must be creative, detail-oriented, and able to work well independently and with others to meet tight deadlines
- Consistent follow-through, with a commitment to achieving a positive customer (internal and external) experience through every interaction
- Applicant must have strong organizational skills and the composure necessary in managing and executing on multiple priorities at once
- Demonstrated ability to work between departments to drive solutions for customers, internal and external
- CRM Experience; Salesforce, Spiro, etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
- Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel
- Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
