Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Timesheet and EAR entry within the required time frame
  • Subject to emergency duty in the event of a natural disaster
  • Completion of all mandatory or assigned trainings within the required time frame
  • The incumbent will work independently with minimum supervision and report directly to the Operations Director while working in close coordination with the Public Information Officer/Quality Improvement Coordinator at the Florida Department of Health in Marion County.
  • Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Orders supplies and equipment as needed in support of the Operations Team.
  • Performs administrative and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence and reports, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking and preparing minutes.
  • Provides support for scheduling and tracking PMQI training classes.
  • Performs updates to DOH-Marion SharePoint site and Florida Health Performs.
  • Collects customer satisfaction survey data and maintains customer satisfaction survey database.
  • Develops and updates Survey Monkey surveys under the direction of the QI Coordinator and Operations Director.
  • Maintains databases in support of the Operations Team.
  • Position is required to fill in at the main lobby kiosk as needed and when available.
  • Performs other assigned duties including but not limited to performing other public health preparedness duties during a disaster or public health response.

Ability to prioritize workload

Ability to order supplies and equipment as needed

Ability to prepare correspondence and reports

Knowledge of scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking and preparing minutes

Knowledge of developing and updating Survey Monkey surveys.

Knowledge of Microsoft Computer applications such as Excel, Word, etc.


Qualifications:

Minimum -

Experience working in an office setting

Experience using Microsoft Computer applications (Excel, Word)

Demonstrated customer service skills

Experience in preparing correspondence.


Preferred –

Experience preparing web content

Bilingual – Spanish / English
