DESCRIPTION

The Operations and Visual Merchandising Manager makes the magic happen behind the scenes! This position sets and maintain the stage for customer experience, maintaining the integrity and the brand image. This person is responsible for all aspects of store operations, including inventory-related processes, merchandise resets, visual ad sets and pricing compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Point person for all store deliveries. Executes shipping and receiving process, reporting any issues to General Manager and taking the necessary steps to resolve
• Perform physical inventory and process store supply orders, both new and replenishment
• Assist in monitoring the supply and monitoring recurring expenses against their store budget
• Ensure compliance of Visual Merchandising standards in collaboration with corporate partner
• Maintain store standards that support the visual direction and enhance the customer shopping experience; recover and replenish the store as needed; as well as reacting to sell-thru as necessary
• Responsible for executing store visual merchandising and display presentation, fixture layout, and visual operation
• Works with various corporate partners to ensure the display quantities and levels are updated on a quarterly basis
• Process staff uniform and Supply orders
• Assist with facility needs, including, coordinating in-store maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely fashion
• Observe the sales floor and make sure the business is running effectively and smoothly in a clean, stocked, and presentable store
• Perform all opening and closing procedures to company standards
• Maintain strong working knowledge of all processes and policies
• Be the point person for technical issues in store
• Assist with special projects as needed, including in store and off-site events

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• 3+ years in retail management with a concentration on Visual Merchandising and Operation experience, a plus.
• Experience with Physical Inventory & Cycle Counts preferred
• Experience with Netsuite and Shopify preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift to 30 pounds as well as climb stairs to and from the stockroom

• Comp range $23-25/hour based on experience
