Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Business Operations; researching, developing, testing & trouble-shooting software & applications; training team other employees on Action's proprietary software & applications; assisting with monthly billing, special projects, data entry, and mailroom support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in training, testing, trouble-shooting, development, set-up, and management of the software & applications (such as SnapHOA & Mgmt. App)
  • Interact with Managers on a daily basis via phone, email, and/or web meetings.
  • Assist with monthly billing, special projects, data entry, and mailroom support.
  • Create & maintain manuals for processes, software, and applications.
  • Assist in performing any other responsibilities and special projects assigned by the Director of Business Operations as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as an industrial printer and filing systems.
  • Interest in software, applications, coding, and development.
  • Good knowledge of English language, grammar, and spelling. Ability to read and interpret documents such as incoming mail and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate well to train other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate a standard calculator.
  • Personal computer familiarity; including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to type no less than 25 words per minute. Ability to operate and initiate web meetings.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding in carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Compensation: $23 to $26 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
