Job Purpose:
This position is a one year, Visiting Lecturer position beginning August 2023 in the department of Theology/Religious Studies.
Essential Duties:
Responsibilities will be teaching multiple sections of the Universitys First Year Seminar, which combines an introduction to Scripture with an introduction to the nature and purpose of Jesuit higher education in the liberal arts tradition, as well as undergraduate survey courses in Christian Theology. Create Syllabi and assignments, teach, grade, meet with students individually.

Minimum Education Requirements:
The successful candidate will be PhD/ABD, will demonstrate experience, enthusiasm, and skill in undergraduate teaching, and should be both familiar and sympathetic with the Catholic tradition and eager to contribute to the Universitys mission.

Teaching experience, including syllabus development.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two semesters teaching experience, including syllabus development.Experience in Catholic/Jesuit higher-education environment
