Hiring Today for the Position of

Job Coach

(paid training)

Location:

Santa Monica and North Hollywood

(Paid drivetime. Mileage reimbursement.)

Schedule:

Mondays - Fridays, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Job Summary:

As a Job Coach, you will support your client's success and satisfaction at his place of employment. You will guide him to succeed in his role as office assistant and support him in the achievement of his goals on the job.

Job Duties:

• Support client (one-on-one and in person) in achieving individualized goals related to his office job at the ETTA non-profit headquarters
• Participate in client's daily planning, office duties, assessment, and evaluation
• Implement and oversee the job curriculum
• Guide and gently support client in developing and achieving his schedule, tasks and various activities for each day of services
• Attend client's IPP meetings
• Provide regular brief written feedback to Program Manager via Therap app or web-based software

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED (higher education in related major is helpful (but not required)
• Experience (whether professional or personal) working with individuals with disabilities is very helpful (but not required)
• Must have valid Driver License and reliable vehicle with valid insurance (clean driving record); must be willing to drive with client
• Good English skills and proficient in basic computer skills
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot)
• Must receive Live Scan clearance (DOJ / FBI)
