Job Qualifications:

- Weekend & holiday availability (required)
- Ability to walk, stand, and/or hang in a harness for long periods of time
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs of weight and be able to hike up to 3 miles per day
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
The Office Supervisor is an “at will” position and reports to the Office Manager and Operations Manager. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Upholding the Empower Adventures Middleburg mission, vision, and principles
Ensure safety of guides and guests throughout each experience. This includes:
- Adhering to Empower Adventures SOP to ensure all guides & guests properly follow all sending, receiving, riding, and braking techniques throughout the experience.
- Continuous checks of harnesses, helmets, and hardware throughout the experience.
- Properly conduct emergency rescue operations, in accordance with Empower Adventures SOP.
- Safely transport guests to/from Empower experiences utilizing company equipment
Prompt arrival for each scheduled shift, wearing the proper uniform
- Company branded shirt/jacket
- Khaki colored pants/shorts
- Neutral colored shoes
Providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after experiences. Including, but not limited to:
- Establishing connections with guests that create a synergistic approach to helping them reach their potential
- Deliver experiences that engage, challenge, spark learning and result in achievement.
- Identifying and managing potential risky situations/behavior before, during, and after experiences.
- Properly completing opening, experience set-up/clean-up, and closing procedures.
Role-specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring smooth and efficient daily operation of Office tasks
- Office phone is answered, and emails are promptly and appropriately responded to during office open hours
- Resolving customer issues/complaints.
Become an expert on utilizing our Reservation system (Flybook)
- Create new reservations
- Update/adjust existing reservations
- Process payments and refunds
- Credit Card
- Gift Card/Gift Certificate/Store Credit
- Resort Room Charge
- 3rd party vouchers
- Adjust availability for experiences
- Send confirmation emails
- Verify and send waivers to clients
Become an expert on the Point of Sale system for the Resort (SpaSoft)
- Process payments and refunds
- Credit Card
- Gift Card/Gift Certificate/Store Credit
- Resort Room Charge
- 3rd party vouchers
- Process financial reports
- Create/Adjust activity pricing
- Empower financial tracking and reporting
Empower Accrual
Send Daily Reports
Update Revenue Tracking documents
Become an expert on our photo-sharing system (PixieSet)
Capture, assess, and select pictures and videos to be used for sharing on social media platforms
Assist Operations Manager and Office Manager with training and developing Office Assistants
Assign and assist Supervisors and Managers with other assigned tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Collecting and processing purchase requests
- Creating Social Media postings
- Updating Empower Adventures Website
- Processing employment applications
- Assisting with Group Sales processes
- Prospecting and lead generation
- Communicating with Group leads and contacts
- Respond to group inquiries
- Send follow-ups to leads
- Create group sales contracts and reservations
- Ensure group deposits are collected and processed by/before deadlines
- Processing and filing daily and monthly paperwork
- Assisting with set-up and clean-up of experiences
Resolve/assist with issues/emergencies related to experiences. Including, but not limited to:
- Inebriated guest
- Guest arriving late for an experience
- Injured guide or guest before/after an experience
- Injured guide or guest during an experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
