OFFICE MANAGER for EQUIPMENT RENTAL/LANDSCAPE STORE
Existing equipment rental/ landscape supply business in the Roxboro area seeking a customer focused, results driven office manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the equipment rental/landscape supply business including sales, recordkeeping regulations and inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
- Manage and perform the day-to-day operations of the business.
- Monitor and control resources to keep business profitable.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of business.
- Develop strategies to drive store sales, boost profitability and improve the business.
- Keep store expenses within established budgets.
- Create business strategies to attract new customers and grow the current customer base.
- Provide excellent service to customers and resolve issues in positive and proficient manner.
- Maintain and develop strong working relationships with customers and vendors.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures as well as local and federal safety requirements and regulations.
- Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFCATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER DETAILS:
- Must be proficient with Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the available equipment to rent and all aspects of the Landscape Supply side of the business.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local and federal safety requirements and regulations.
- Ability to work in and outside of the store as needed.

OTHER KEY FACTORS:
- Must maintain current, valid driver's license.
EXPERIENCE:
- Sales: 2 years (Preferred).
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred).
- Willing to train the right individual.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift heavy items weighing 25 lbs.
HOURS AND SCHEDULE:
- Full-time position requiring 40- 45 hours per week.
