In this position, you will assist individual patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments. Occupational Therapists work with individuals who suffer from a mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling condition, while assessing and modifying treatment plans to achieve the highest level of function. They will use treatments to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of their patients. The therapists help clients not only to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also to compensate for permanent loss of function with the goal to help clients have independent, productive, and satisfying lives.

For this position we require a degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's required, advanced degree preferred) and a Maryland Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain one. Additionally, we require CPR certification.
