Tax Returns Related

· E-Filing Returns-Logging out all completed tasks in XCM (tax returns, payroll, and 1099s.)

· XCM Workflow- Add clients and tasks, restart tasks, voiding tasks, helping staff

· Adding charge sheet charges for each tax return that is processed

· Scan IRS acceptance, signed 8879, and XCM RS to client archives

Off Tax Season related tasks

· Scan-in all incoming tax information/records from clients once they have been logged into XCM

· Scan prepared work-papers into client archives

· Create and print tax covers for the current & upcoming tax year

Supply Ordering

· Monitor copy machines, printers, main Fax machine for repairs and order all toner.

· Order copy paper

· Monitor and Order envelopes and letterhead

Miscellaneous Tasks

Maintain in house list of employees, addresses, contact phone numbers, also the vendor listing

Help keep informed of office needs and try to find solutions (building maintenance, I.T. issues, supply likes/dislikes)

Mass mail-out projects (1099s, Statements, Kiwanis)

Fill in for Main Receptionist’s duties regarding arriving clients, the Postal and FedEx tasks, mail distribution, assign tax tasks, client pickup of tax returns and moving them in XCM

Be back up for sending email requests to Billing Dept. for changes in Project Management (phone numbers and addresses) and copy Angela so she can change those addresses in UltraTax program

Tax Deadline Days specific

(Tasks also for day before deadline)

· Help with Post office run for certified mail & any FedEx drop-offs (If too busy find an PGC employee to take them)

· Applying postage & distribute incoming mail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
