POSITION SUMMARY
Olivet Nazarene University Department of Nursing is seeking an adjunct nursing faculty member to provide clinical instruction in the undergraduate nursing program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Help with return demonstrations of skills at the beginning of the semester.
2. Supervise students in clinical.
3. Grade weekly assignments such as journals and care plans.
4. Evaluate each student each day on department forms.
5. Meet with students at the end of their rotation to give them a final evaluation.
6. Maintain ongoing communication with level coordinator and didactic professor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.
2. At least five years of experience in the nursing field.
3. Strong work ethic
4. Excellent interpersonal communication skills
5. Excellent organizational skills
EDUCATION
1. A Master’s degree in Nursing is required;
2. Current health requirements include, but are not limited to, CPR certification, TB skin test, drug screen, MMR, Varicella, flu vaccine, and COVID vaccines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Travel required to clinical sites. Primary interaction with level coordinator. Reports to director of pre-licensure programs and the director of nursing programs.
