A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NURSE MANAGER / RN

As a Nurse Manager / RN, you arrive at our outpatient clinic ready to go above and beyond for our patients. You expertly manage our clinical operations by acting as a liaison between patients and other staff, assuming primary responsibility for patient safety, monitoring the flow of patients before and after procedures, and ensuring good financial management. Additionally, you oversee our nursing staff by providing leadership and hands-on support in the clinical setting.

Your exceptional communication skills help you collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other managers. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A NURSE MANAGER / RN

• Bachelor's degree in nursing OR an associate degree in nursing with a bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• BLS (basic life support) certification
• Background in surgical services
• Valid driver's license
• Computer skills and the ability to type 45+ words per minute
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

A master's degree in nursing or related field experience is preferred. A nursing specialty and ACLS (advanced cardiovascular life support) certification are also preferred. Are you a strong leader with excellent decision-making skills? Do you have respect for and patience with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people? Can you deal tactfully with patients, team members, physicians, other staff, and administration? Do you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills?
