Network Architect - CCIE Required Job at Arganteal, Corp.
Duration: 6-12 month contract
Location: Onsite in New York City, New York (no remote work)

Summary:
Arganteal is seeking a CCIE certified Network Architect for an on-premise contract in and around the New York City area. Contract will be between 6-12 months.
Required Qualifications:
- Must currently live in the New York City area and be willing to work onsite daily
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Route Switch
- 8+ years of experience in Low Level Design of large Enterprise networks
- 5+ years of experience with networking and security technologies
Required Knowledge:
- Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP)
- Solid understanding and practical experience with switching technologies (Spanning tree, EtherChannel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB)
- Familiarity with Virtual Private Network (VPN) and firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point, etc)
- Experience in the integration of data network and storage system in a data center environment
- Solid background in Layer 2-7 technologies
Job Duties:
- Architect, engineer, and troubleshoot Cisco firewalls and services
- Engineer application and network designs to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and security best practices
- Provide technical expertise in business initiatives and projects
- Configure and install network and security related hardware and software
